Gymnastics
Our gymnastics programs give kids the opportunity to build skills, confidence, strength, and coordination while having fun in a supportive environment. Through progressive instruction and positive experiences, gymnasts safely develop a foundation of skills, improve balance and coordination, and build a love of gymnastics. From first-time gymnasts to competitive athletes, there's a place for every gymnast at the Y.

Gymnastics For Every Stage
Whether your child is exploring movement for the first time, building foundational gymnastics skills, or ready to take their training further, our gymnastics programs offer opportunities for a variety of ages and experience levels.
Adult Tot
Give little ones the chance to explore a variety of body movements, practice age-appropriate gymnastics skills, and build confidence in a fun and safe environment alongside a parent or caregiver. This program gives adults and children the opportunity to experience movement and gymnastics together.
Preschool
Preschool gymnastics gives young children the opportunity to explore movement and develop balance, flexibility, coordination, and self-confidence through gross motor activities in a fun, positive, and supportive environment.
Progressive
Our progressive gymnastics classes offer a step-by-step approach for beginners through gymnasts ready to develop more advanced skills. In a non-competitive environment, participants build fundamental gymnastics skills, flexibility, strength, coordination, and confidence as they progress.
Competitive Team
For proficient gymnasts ready to commit to a higher level of gymnastics, our SPIRITS competitive team provides opportunities to develop skills, conditioning, dance, and performance in a safe, enthusiastic, and motivating team environment. The team includes USAG Levels 1-10 and all Xcel levels. Team acceptance is by invitation only. To learn more, contact the Gymnastics Office at 715-952-9365 or kbridenagen@spymca.org.
