FOR A BETTER US

Every day, the YMCA gives our community the support it needs to learn, grow, and thrive. From advocacy to education, chronic disease prevention to youth sports, child care to swimming lessons, everything we do helps strengthen our neighborhood and the people who live here.

But keeping our community strong is a full-time job. Every day, we face new challenges that create a greater need for the work we do. And we need your help to do it. Your gift can help our community and everyone in it shine.

CAMPERS IN CABINS:

Your tax deductible donation allows campers to canoe or kayak, build a campfire, trail hike, rock climb, fish or swim, and so much more.  With your help, we make sure every child who desires to attend Y Camp Glacier Hollow in Amherst Junction has the opportunity to do so.

MEMORIAL GIFTS:

Memorial gifts are made in remembrance of someone who has passed away, and a great way to honor their memory or love for the Stevens Point Area YMCA.  Gifts may be designated to the YMCA Foundation or to a specific YMCA program, and are tax deductible.

SPDY CAPITAL:

Stevens Point Dolphin YMCA (SPDY) Swim Team is a competitive swim program where kids develop a love and passion for the sport of swimming.  The program has over 130 swimmers ages 5-18 years.  A generous donor has agreed to match every gift up to $10,000 that is raised prior to the end of 2020.  SPDY hopes to raise $20,000 total for the purchase of a new timing system for home meetings and iPads for coaches to use during practices.

PLANNED GIVING:

Giving For The Future

So much of what you do becomes part of the lives you touch. The example you set. The traits they see in you and seek to reflect. But what if it were possible to have the good you do last longer than the here and now.  Many generous individuals wish to make gifts in the future to the Stevens Point Area YMCA. They are giving through their estate plans or by making immediate contributions that can generate a life of income or special tax benefits to the YMCA Foundation.

There are many ways of giving to the Stevens Point Area YMCA. Annual Campaign, Campers In Cabins, Memorials, Swim Team Capital and through the Foundation including annuities, trusts and life insurance.
