Support the Campaign

The life affirming benefits that the YMCA offers to all, without regard to financial circumstance, presents a powerful opportunity for those who wish to make an enduring investment in young people, their families and their community.

Thank you for supporting the Waushara County YMCA’s Building A Stronger Community Capital Campaign. This project will be a catalyst for enabling and promoting healthy living for children, adults, and families within our community. It will ensure that all ages have access to world class, life-changing health and wellbeing programming and services. Together, we are committed to increasing our capacity to meet that need and will strive to make Waushara County one of the healthiest places to live. #stronger

OTHER WAYS TO LEAVE A LEGACY

Would you like to help ensure the lasting sustainability of our Waushara County YMCA for generations to come? Consider a gift to our YMCA.

PLEDGES

To increase your contribution to the Waushara County YMCA, you may make a pledge now and spread payments of your gift overtime.

APPRECIATED STOCKS, BONDS, or PROPERTY

An alternative to cash is a gift of appreciated property, such as securities.  In most situations the full fair market value of gifts of appreciated assets is deductible.  Additionally, taxes on gains are often avoided.  Please consult with your financial and tax advisors for advice on maximizing and finalizing your campaign gift plans.  An account transfers form is available.

PLANNED OR DEFERRED GIVING

Giving through your will can be a convenient and easy way to leave a lasting legacy to benefit the YMCA. After first providing for your loved ones, you may decide to give a specific amount or percentage of your remaining estate to the YMCA.  Please speak with Ryan Zietlow, CEO, for details on how to set up your planned giving.

CHARITABLE TRUSTS/CHARITABLE GIFT ANNUITIES

Charitable trusts can provide life income to you and/or a loved one. After your lifetime(s), the trust principal passes to the YMCA Foundation. You may name other charities as principal recipients as well.

LIFE INSURANCE

When the added protection of an insurance policy is no longer needed, transferring the policy’s ownership to the YMCA can result in tax benefits for you and a generous gift to the YMCA.

For any additional information on leaving a lasting legacy, please send an email to rzietlow@spymca.org or call 715-952-9300. Gifts to the YMCA are tax deductible.
