Grades K-6
School-Age Care is a place where kids can make friends, learn new skills, stay active and best of all, have fun! We incorporate core values into every activity to reinforce the foundation that you’ve already established. We ensure your child will be kept busy and that their creative spirits are challenged in a safe, constructive environment. School-Age Care is a high-quality, state-licensed youth program and so much more!

Elementary Schools Include:
Bannach, Madison, McDill, McKinley, Plover-Whiting, Roosevelt, and Washington
*All sites are running both AM and PM programs.
Monday – Friday when school is in session.
Before School: 6:30 AM - 8:25 AM
After School: 3:25 PM - 5:30 PM
If school is released early due to the weather, School-Age Care will not be held.
YMCA Snow Days
Snow Day! Now what? Bring your children to the YMCA for a fun-filled day of learning through play, arts and crafts, story time, gym and outside time, and so much more! Available only to families already enrolled in YMCA Before and After School Child Care, YMCA Snow Days provide high quality child care from 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM when the Stevens Point Area School District and YMCA Before and After Care are closed for weather.
Vacation at the Y
Grades K-6
The Vacation at the Y program is a great place to bring your child when they have a full day off from school. Days Off includes fun-filled activities, plenty of action, swimming and arts and crafts. Most importantly it provides parents with peace of mind.
Held at the Stevens Point Area YMCA from 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM and runs in conjunction with the Stevens Point School District calendar. Enrollment is limited and fills quickly.
Summer Vacation at the Y
Ages 5-7

Join us for a fun-filled summer right here at the YMCA! Your child will have the opportunity to build self-confidence, independence and creativity while you have peace of mind knowing your child(ren) are in a safe and enriching place. Staff will provide creative and fun activities throughout the summer while kids make unforgettable memories for years to come!
