All teens have great potential. At the Y, we help them set and achieve their personal and educational goals. They gain confidence as they recognize the Y as a place where they belong and can feel comfortable exploring new interests and passions. Through leadership and academic enrichment programs, we make sure that every teen has an opportunity to envision a positive future, and to take an active role in strengthening the community.
Here are the teen programs we offer:
Join your friends and hang out! Our Teen Center is loaded with everything teens love to do, including a big screen TV, computers, karaoke, pool and ping pong tables, and much more. A staff member is on hand to make sure fun is had by all, to help with homework, or to challenge you to a game of pool.
Looking for fun, friendship, and a chance to try your leadership chops? Teen Leaders participate in recreational activities, Y and community volunteer projects, leadership rallies, fundraising, and more. Members in good standing get a free Y youth membership and a discount on special trips and activities.
Party like a rock star – at the Y. Saturday nights at the Y are for teens. Teen nights, supervised by Y staff, are a unique opportunity for teens to hang out with friends, participating in open gym activities, dance to the DJ’s tunes, eat snacks, play pool, swim, and more.
Youth In Government
Are you a future Senator, or maybe President? If you would love to learn how to the lawmaking process works while hanging out with other teens with similar interests, the Y’s Youth in Government program is for you.
