Family New Year’s Bash – 1998

More temporary tattoos, using watercolors.

Our best guess, based on the time stamp of this photo, is that this was taken during a
New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day program.

For many years, the Stevens Point Area YMCA has held a free, family event for the Portage County community
on New Year’s Eve. This year is no exception!

Our annual New Year’s Eve Bash will be on Monday, December 31, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
The Y will offer a fun, festive celebration for all ages, with a range of activities for parents and children. Kids can bounce away on giant inflatables (provided by Rock N’ Roll to Go Plus), indulge in some ice cream, and for those who will be asleep at midnight, ring in the New Year before bedtime with a special New Year’s Eve countdown.

From 5:00-7:30 p.m., the Adventure Pool will be open for family swim,
including the Y’s waterslide and mushroom fountain.

Families with young children, looking for a quieter environment, are welcome to spend some quality time
in Adventure Alley, the YMCA’s playroom for kids six and under.

This event is open to Y Members and the general public free of charge,
thanks to the generous support of our donors.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those new to the area, or considering membership, to explore the YMCA and see firsthand all it has to offer. Have extended family in town for the holidays? Bring them along! The Y believes that fostering a strong relationship between parent and child is the cornerstone of healthy living. Create lasting family memories and close out the year 2018 by spending quality time together, in a safe, supportive, engaging environment.
