CHILD CARE CENTER
AGE 6 WEEKS - 6 YEARS
The Stevens Point Area YMCA Early Education Center provides a safe, nurturing environment where your child will learn, grown and thrive. Our program is designed to encourage children to develop a love of learning. We offer high-quality care for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. Through the use of guided self-discovery and experiential learning, teachers focus on providing children with enriching experiences to facilitate social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth and development at the most critical time of a child's development, which is from 0 to 5 years old.
The hours of operation are 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday.
The Stevens Point Area YMCA Early Education Center offers full-time programming year-round for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. The YMCA's Early Education Center is licensed by the State of Wisconsin and has received a 4-star rating from YoungStar (WI's quality rating system). Our children build skills, knowledge, and abilities through hands-on experiences. In partnership with parents, we set individualized goals and monitor multiple domains of development throughout the year.
The YMCA is a non-profit charitable organization and the ECE program is state-licensed tax-deductible child care. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify through the Wisconsin Shares Program, our YMCA Annual Campaign and United Way funding.
