The YMCA Fitness Center will be open from 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. only on Monday, December 24th in observance of Christmas Eve. The building will be closed all day Tuesday, December 25th. Normal building hours will resume on Wednesday, December 26th. Drop-in child care will be closed Monday, December 24 - Wednesday, December 26th.
The gift of Re-Giving event is a wonderful way for families in our community to help each other this holiday season. From 3-8pm on Friday, Dec 14th, bring in your gently used toys and books to the common room of the YMCA (down the stairs from the big gym). This is a GREAT opportunity to filter out older toys that are taking up space in your home before new holiday gifts arrive. Then all are welcome to come and shop FOR FREE on Saturday, Dec 15th from 9am-12pm. You do not need to donate in order to shop. Co-sponsored with Central Wisconsin Holistic Families.
This year's final outing of Adventure Club is a trip to Putt n Play for a round of mini golf. This free event event is open to all students in grades 4-7. Preregistration is required. Transportation will be provided from the Stevens Point Area YMCA to Putt n Play.
Girls, join us this Monday evening for holiday snacks, music, and ornament making. Girls Night Out (GNO) is an opportunity for girls in 3rd-7th grade to meet new friends and participate in fun outings and activities. Open to Y members and non-members, in-house programs and activities are FREE.
This event is a private party for members of the YMCA, Boys & Girls Club of Portage County, and Sentry Insurance. Admission is free with a membership ID/employee badge.
