PARENT / CHILD SWIM LESSONS Parent & child are in the water together. Children work on water adjustment and skill development through water games and activities. Children are required to wear swim diapers if not toilet trained.
KIPPERS 6-12 months & a parent
First level of the Parent/Child swimming. Children safely explore the water with their parents while singing songs, playing games and learning basic movements. PERCH: 13-30 months & a parent
Second level of the Parent/Child swimming. Children begin to move more independently and gain confidence in the water, while learning more skills.
Children learn preschool swimming skills with the assistance of their parents. At this level, children are prepared to work with an instructor by themselves. Includes songs, games, skill work & fun!
This program allows children to progress at their own pace. Each level incorporates stroke development, endurance, water sports & games, personal growth, diving, rescue and personal safety.
PIKE (Beginner Preschool)
Children become acquainted with the pool and the use of flotation devices. Skills include floating, gliding, front, back, and side paddle stroke. EEL (Beginner Preschool)
Skills include front and back float, paddle stroke with flotation device on, jumping in and swimming with little assistance. RAY (Intermediate Preschool)
Skills include front paddle with rhythmic breathing, stroke work with and without a flotation device, and jumping in deep water and swimming to the side with no assistance. STARFISH (Advanced Preschool)
Skills include front and back crawl, swimming without flotation device, elementary backstroke, treading water, and front dive.

PRE-POLLIWOG (Beginner level)
Children gain confidence in the water. Skills include front and side paddle stroke using flotation belts, front and back float and basic safety skills. POLLIWOG 1 (Second Level Beginner)
Refinement of front crawl, kicking on front and back, as well as introduction to rhythmic breathing and back crawl. Confidence in deeper water, treading, and survival float are introduced as well. POLLIWOG 2 (Third Level Beginner)
Front and back crawl are refined, as well as introduction front crawl with rhythmic breathing. Endurance becomes a greater factor as well.
GUPPY (Intermediate Level)
Skills include front alternating paddle stroke, back alternating paddle stroke and front symmetrical paddle stroke. Jump into deep water, paddle back to side. MINNOW (Intermediate Level)
Skills include front rudimentary breaststroke, backstroke, treading water and front dive. FISH (Advanced)
Skills include front and back crawl, breaststroke, elementary breaststroke, sidestroke, butterfly and diving. Stroke technique and endurance are emphasized. FLYING FISH (Advanced)
Swimmers at this level continue to work on stroke technique. Endurance swims and perfecting the butterfly are emphasized. SHARK (Advanced)
Consists of endurance training, stroke technique, turns and introduction to lifesaving and personal survival skills. OLDER YOUTH (Beginner-Intermediate)
For students ages 10-12 with skills/endurance of Guppy or below, this class offers the work they need with the comfort of being in a class with their peers.
Private Swim Lessons are offered for all levels and ages. Students work on basic swimming skills, stroke development, and endurance, appropriate for their ability. Water safety is stressed to all participants.
Offered for all levels from terrified of water through advanced. Work with instructors to overcome fears and begin developing basic swimming skills. For those more comfortable in the water, stroke development and endurance are the focus. Water safety is emphasized with all participants.
