The Stevens Point Area YMCA preschool program is state licensed and accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs.

Classes are offered for children ages 3 - Pre-K.

 

Space is still available for 2007-2008. Please call at 342-2999 or stop at the Child Development Office for current openings, registration materials and fees.

Each class level provides social and educational experiences for children to gain confidence in the world around them and enhance their self-esteem. In our last developmental class levels for children ages 4 years and older, we implement a comprehensive program to prepare each child for the approaching kindergarten year.

The YMCA takes its role of providing a comprehensive developmental preschool program seriously. We strongly believe that preschool should be family-centered to the greatest extent possible.
