    TEEN CENTER
 
    Teens grades:  6 - 12
 
    Join your friends and hang out! The Teen Center is loaded with a
    50" big screen TV with cable, stage with karaoke and Dance Dance
    Revolution,snack area,internet computers, foosball, Sony Play-Station 2,
    Nintendo 64, pool table, ping pong,stereo, Guitar Hero, board games,
    a place to lounge around, homework areas, and much more. A staff
    member is on hand at all times to supervise, help with homework or
    challenge you in a game of pool.
    • MOVIE AND PIZZA NIGHT IS EVERY WEDNESDAY
      AT 5:30 PM.
    • ALSO WATCH FOR SPECIAL EVENTS AND POOL
      TOURNAMENTS.

    YMCA TEEN LEADERS CLUB
 
    Grades:  7 - 12
 
    Teen Leaders participate 
    in recreational activities,
    YMCA and community 
    volunteer projects,
    leadership rallies, 
    service learning projects,
    fundraising, and
    numerous other activities.
    Members in good 
    standing receive
    a YMCA youth 
    membership and
    reduced rates on
    special trips and activities.
 
    Meetings are every other Thursday at 7:00 pm in the Teen Center.
 
    You don't have to be a member to join us. Registration is FREE!
 
  TEEN NIGHT
   
    Grades:  6 - 12
 
    Teens, Saturday nights are your nights at the YMCA! Open exclusively for
    Portage County Teens, Saturday Night Y features:
        • Open Gym Activites
        • DJ System Music & Snacks
        • Teen Center Billirds, Foosball, Ping Ping, Big Screen TV,
            Raquetball, Walleyball,
            Swimming (3rd Saturday of every month)
        • Time & Space to socialize and hang out
        » Watch for Special Events, Tournament nights and dances

    "GNO" is an opportunity
    for girls to face and
    prepare for all of the
    changes during this time
    in their lives especially
    Junior High and High
    School. Topics and
    activities may include
    friends, movie nights,
    stressand relaxation,
    self-defense, fitness
    classes team building,
    service projects, career options, making
    smart choices, nutrition, and more!
 
    You don't have to be a member to join us. Registration is FREE!
    Participants can receive reduced rates on special trips and activities.
 
    Meetings are held 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm in
    Teen Center.

   YMCA TEEN ADVENTURE CLUB (September to May)
 
    Grades:  5 - 10
 
    Like to go rock climbing,
    backpacking, canoeing,
    mountain biking or do
    other outdoor adventure/
    environmental activities?
    Looking for more adventure?
    Then this club is for you! 
    Participants will learn new
    skills as well as plan and
    organize various adventures
    like snowshoeing, skiing,
    backpacking, rock climbing,
    canoeing and other adventure
    activities.
 
    Registration is FREE! Meetings are held every other Thursday at 6:00 pm
    in the Teen Center. New members are always welcome!

   YMCA YOUTH IN GOVERMENT (September to February)

    Teens grades:  7 - 12
 
    Junior and High School Students learn how our lawmaking
    process works through participation in this fun and challenging
    Statewide and National YMCA program. Come to the
    introductory meeting to find out how you can be one of
    over 400 students who convene for 3 days in the legislative
    chambers of the State Capitol in Madison each year. You
    may even be selected to our Wisconsin Delegation that goes
    to the National YMCA Affairs Convention in Washington D.C.!
 
    If you are interested in joining Youth In Government, or if you are
    returning from last year, it is important you attend one of our
    first meetings.
