Greater Stevens Point Area

Donations from last year's Strong Kids Campaign helped 3,325 individuals experience the postivie effects of YMCA programs and activities. A total of $252,695 worth of scholarship assistance was provided to these individuals. Our success will always be measured by the lives we touch.

At the YMCA, one of our most important goals has always been to enrich the lives of everyone in our community.

Giving everyone a safe and nurturing place to go benefits the community. By introducing people to experiences that will help them grow into responsible, successful individuals, we make the community we love a better place to live.

YMCA programs teach everyone important values such as caring, honesty, responsibility, and respect. Through a variety of fun and rewarding activities, they also develop valuable skills while they gain confidence and self-esteem. You simply can't put a price on strengthening and enriching the character of an individual.

Pacesetter - PLATINUM $15,000+
$18,720 - Provides single working parent with two children quality licensed child care for one year.
Pacesetter - GOLD $10,000 to $14,999
$11,124 - Provides fifteen family memberships to those who have a Mother/Father deployed overseas.
Paceseter - SILVER $7,500 to $9,999
$7,680 - Provides summer leadership training for twelve teens.
Pacesetter - BRONZE $5,000 to $7,499
$5,475 - Allows fifteen youth to participate in YMCA resident camp.
Dream Builder - $2,500 to $4,999
$2,718 - Helps a working family cope with the cost of before & after school care for one year.

Leadership Circle - $1,000 to $2,499
$1,062 - Allows a three year old child a preschool education experience for one year.

Community Builder - $500 to $999
$730 - Allows ten youth to participate in the twelve week youth basketball program.

Sponsor- $250 to $499
$312 - Teaches six children to swim.

Friends of the Y - $1 to $249
$112 - Allows two girls to participate in gymnastics.
