YMCA Great Escape is a high-quality State licensed before and after school care program for school age children. Great Escape is located at the eight Stevens Point School District Elementary Schools listed below.
Great Escape is also offered at the YMCA during the summer, during days off school and during snow days.
YMCA Great Escape is the place for your child to spend time in an environment that is fun, safe and energetic. Your child will participate in a variety of activities that promote learning and the YMCA four values. We provide friendly, well-trained staff to care for and ensure the safety of your child, while leading them through a fun-filled curriculum.

Financial assistance is available. GREAT ESCAPE DAYS OFF
 The YMCA Great Escape Days Off Program is held at the YMCA and is a great place to bring your child when they have a day off from school. This full day or early release day program includes fun-filled activities, plenty of action, swimming and arts & crafts. Most importantly it provides parents with peace of mind. Our program runs similar to the Stevens Point School District calendar. Enrollment is limited and fills quickly. Register Now for Days Off! Call the Child Development Office at 342-2999 for dates and registration materials.
GREAT ESCAPE SNOW DAYS
 It’s 6:00a.m. and the radio just announced that school is cancelled. The kids are leaping for joy, but your mind is racing…”What am I going to do with the children?” The YMCA has an answer that will please the entire family, our School Age Snow Days Program.
A one-time registration fee reserves a spot for your child in the program for any and all full-day cancellations due to weather.
