 Welcome to the YMCA aquatics section. My name is Tiffany Seubert, I am the Aquatics Director. My mission as aquatics director is to run top level aquatics programs and activities that are accessible to all members of the Stevens Point Area. We will support and promote fitness, education, competition, and safety in all aquatics environments.
Please take a moment to look over this section of the web page for all the information you need to participate in our aquatics programs. We offer various levels of swimming lessons, private lessons for individuals or small groups, opportunities for Red Cross certifications in lifeguarding, CPR and first aid, and water safety instruction, and we have a vastly growing swim team.
Our swimming lesson program is different because it offers low class numbers to allow more one-on-one time with the instructor. We will be charging an extra $5.00 for late enrollments, so sign up early to hold a spot. If a class is full that you want to be in, please sign up on the waiting list, additional classes will be added if interest is high enough. If we don’t get enough kids in a class we do reserve the right to cancel those classes. We do apologize for any inconvenience that it causes. If you are new to the program and don’t know what level your child is in please contact me, Tiffany, at 715/342-2980 X 345 for more information, and a placement in a class, please note that we may have to schedule a skill check. |
